India gave relief material to Bangladesh for the help of Rohingya Muslims
Dhaka: India gave relief material to more than 11 lakh liters of kerosene oil and 20,000 stoves including Bangladesh to Rohingya Muslim refugees staying in refugee camps in Bangladesh leaving Myanmar due to violence.
Bangladesh, stuck in a difficult situation due to Rohingyas coming from large numbers in Myanmar, has called for intervention from the international community and pressurizing Mymahan to resolve this issue.
Since August last year, 7,00,000 Rohingyas migrated to Bangladesh fleeing Myanmar’s Rhein Province. In August, the army in Myanmar had campaigned against the alleged terrorist organizations of Rohingya Muslims.
Harshavardhan Shringla, High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh handed over 11 lakh liters of kerosene oil and 20000 Kerosene Multivac Stove to Bangladesh’s Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzel Hossain Chaudhary.
The Indian High Commission in a statement said that the assistance Bangladesh has sought is according to it.
